HUMANITARIAN AID

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

The A.S.C.F. committee members, with joy and satisfaction prepared and delivered food to the Santa Ana Salvation Army men’s hospitality shelter, to feed over 100 individuals. Our Foundation’s mission is to feed the hungry, help the less fortunate, keep our students educated and help the orphans. May God bless all.

A.S.C.F BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER

A.S.C.F believes in taking action inside and outside the walls of the church to serve our brothers and sisters in need, next door and around the world.

Under a beautiful blue sky, at a house full of love and faithful people, a gathering for "Breakfast" was organized by The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation (A.S.C.F), sponsored and hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Hovsep and Liza Nadjarian.

In her opening remarks, Mrs. Dalila Pandazos, Chairlady of the Board, welcomed all and thanked Mr. & Mrs. Hovsep and Liza Nadjarian for sponsoring and hosting this beautiful event. Special thanks to Kradjian Imports for providing us with the breakfast necessities. She also thanked the committee members and the volunteers for their hard work and dedication and thanked Vrouyr Demirjian for his continued efforts.

Vrouyr Demirjian also thanked all of the attendees for believing and for their continued support of our mission. He then specially thanked the Nadjarians, and as a token of appreciation, he presented them with a special "thank you" note.

Afterwards, Mrs. Shooshan Artin recited an Armenian Poem, and later on, all participated in singing our beautiful old Armenian songs.

Looking forward to upcoming events. Praise the Lord for all His blessings.

RENEWAL OF FAITH

ST. ANTONY COPTIC ORTHODOX MONASTERY

The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation has organized a spiritual trip to St. Antony Coptic Monastery, in Newberry California.The faithful enjoyed the morning prayer at St. Antony Church conducted by Vrouyr Demirjian. They all visited all the churches on campus and left the monastery with renewed faith and hearts filled with God's love. Thanks to the committee members for their diligent hard work for organizing such a unique and spiritual event.

FOURTH ANNUAL PICNIC

ASCF has organized its fourth annual family picnic at the Irvine Mason Regional Park. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and donors, the committee members and to all of the volunteers who helped to bring this event to its success. May God bless you all

WITH THE ASSURANCE OF SERVING THE ARMENIAN SCHOOLS AND NATION

The foundation, under the hospitable roof of Kaloust and Dalila Pandazos, organized a charitable dinner evening, under the headline of "The Gift of Love". The initiative's purpose was to provide financial aid to 50 students of the United National Institute in Aleppo, Syria.

There were around 100 countrymen present, among which were Mayor of Glendale, CA Mr. Vartan Gharpetian, and the President of Crescenta Valley Town Council Mr. Harry Leon. In their address, they expressed words of encouragement and appreciation in regards to the undertakings of the foundation in pursuit of an ongoing support of Armenian students.

The foundation would like to thank everyone who have remained resolute and faithful towards the success of this beautiful event of "The Gift of Love", the earnest members of the committee, friends and supporters, who believe in the benevolence of the organization, and encourage all charitable events with their monetary and moral support.

CONCERT DEDICATED TO MOTHERS

The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation hosted a musical concert dedicated to the Armenian mothers  in Glendale's first congregational church. The participants of the concert created beautiful music for the audience. The aim of this event was to provide educational scholarships to 25 students.

FAMILY NIGHT FUNDRAISING

The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation, once again gathered a large number of Armenians who had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant and joyous evening in a warm atmosphere. The sponsors of the event were Kaloust and Dalila Pandazos, who have always supported our organization morally and financially. The night featured a well-known comedian, Piere Shammasian. The event was successful and the funds will be going to needy families.

3RD ANNUAL FUNDRAISING BANQUET

"A GREAT SUCCESS"

The ASCF held its Third Annual Fundraising Banquet at Raffi's Banquet Hall in Pasadena. Vrouyr Demirjian, welcomed and expressed his gratitude to all for believing and for their generous contributions to help the less fortunate families, the orphans and the students. He informed that the profit from this event will benefit Syrian Armenian Students with their tuition, who now reside in Lebanon. ASCF believes in "No Armenian Student is left behind". He also gave a brief information of how ASCF is helping and reaching out to the needy. He thanked the committee members for their devoted and diligent efforts to bring this event to its success. Mrs. Arpy Aintablian, with great pleasure performed two beautiful Armenian songs, and Mrs. Shooshan Artin recited a poem about "Mothers". May God bless this Foundation to continue this divine mission.

ARMENIAN SPIRITUAL CULTURAL FOUNDATION'S THIRD ANNUAL PICNIC

ASCF has organized its third annual fundraising picnic at the Irvine Mason Regional park. Vrouyr Demirjian welcomed and thanked everyone for their continued support of the foundation. He introduced the sponsors, Mr. & Mrs. Kaloust and Dalila Pandazos, who with great joy undertook the expenses in its entirety with a generous donation of $1,500. He also thanked the Committee and non members who diligently worked to bring this event to its success.

The proceed from this event in the amount of $3,000 will benefit 25 needy Armenian students who attend Aksor Kassardjian Armenian School in Lebanon. May God abundantly bless you all.

FESTIVAL OF ROSES (VARTADON) FUNDRAISING

This unique Fundraising Event was organized by the Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation, and was hosted and sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. Kaloust and Dalila Pandazos at their humble residence with more than 70 people in attendance, under a beautiful sky, overlooking a magnificent view of Glendale and La Crescenta, The Pandazos' welcomed all with a warm heart. Vrouyr Demirjian welcomed and thanked all for their attendance and for believing in the cause to help the less fortunate, the students and the orphans. He specially thanked Mr. & Mrs. Kaloust and Dalila Pandazoz for sponsoring this event and opening their house to help the cause. Throughout the evening, the attendees enjoyed a beautiful artistic program. Albert presented old Armenian music on the Violin, and a special appearance by Ms. Tsoline Hajian on the piano along with Vrouyr Demirjian, who presented a bunch of beautiful Armenian songs. The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation, would like to thank all sponsors, donors and volunteer members, who helped to make this even successful.

FUNDRAISING EVENT FAMILY NIGHT

Family and friends gathered at the "Babylon" restaurant in Pasadena, to support a great cause of helping our brothers and sisters in need and students. Thanks to all those who always believe and support our cause, and thanks to all volunteer members for their hard work and dedication. God Bless.

HELPING HANDS

ASCF has received the following pictures from Aleppo-Syria, showing Armenian kids receiving winter boots which was donated by the Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation. At this time we would like to thank all of our donors and sponsors who made all this possible. God bless you all.

DONATION TO CHOC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

The committee members headed to CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange and were welcomed by Ms. Monique Bates, Manager of Community Relations. She gave the Committee members a lengthy tour of the hospital. It is truly amazing how these kids suffer daily and how the hospital goes beyond the limit to wipe their tears, put a smile on their faces and their families and keep them as comfortable as possible.

At the end of the tour, Vrouyr Demirjian, President of the Foundation thanked Ms. Bates for the opportunity to visit the hospital, explained to her about the Foundation's mission and handed a donation to the hospital towards the purchase of Christmas gifts for the children in the hospital. May God bless all those who help keep these beautiful children healthy and happy.

FUNDRAISING EVENT TO BENEFIT THE NEEDY FAMILIES AND THE ORPHANS

The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation ( A.S.C.F.) celebrated its Annual benefit gala banquet at the Mirage Banquet hall in North Hollywood. Mr. Shant Manjkian introduced the Foundation of how a vision and a dream became reality with hard work and dedication. A video clip was presented to the attendees showing where and how much the foundation has donated in details. People were so touched with what they watched more donations started to pour. Vrouyr Demirjian explained in detail of how his dream became a reality with this foundation to help the needy families and the Orphans. He then thanked all thosewho came and supported this cause. May God bless all those who morally or monetarily supports this cause, and to all those who sacrifices their precious time and effort to help.

A.S.C.F SECOND ANNUAL PICNIC

The second annual picnic of the Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation was held at the Irvine Regional Park. This year's event was generously sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. Avo and Salpi Mgerian. With beautiful weather and great location, more than 85 people enjoyed their Sunday listening, dancing, and singing to our old beautiful Armenian songs with live entertainment by George Pchakjian on the accordion. Fun games were also organized and attendees participated. We would like to thank God, all of our sponsors and donors, the committee members and to all of the volunteers who helped with this successful event.

SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL CONCERT

Organized by the ASCF, at the Congregational Church- of California Glendale

This concert was dedicated to peace and prosperity of Armenians in Syria. Vrouyr Demirjian in his closing remarks thanked the participants in the artistic program, and all those who contributed to the success of this concert. The concert proceeds will be used pro help Aleppo's needy families.

REACHING OUT TO HELP SYRIAN ARMENIANS

"The Gift of LOVE"

This was the theme of the Fundraiser Luncheon which was organized by the Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation ( A.S.C.F ) on Saturday.

Mr. & Mrs. Luther and Tamar Sevajian hosted this fundraiser luncheon at their residence. Vrouyr Demirjian, President of this Foundation, thanked God for allowing us the opportunity to gather under one roof to serve Him by helping others. Then he thanked the Sevajian's for opening their humble house and presented them with an in scripted Plaque as a token of appreciation. Luther on behalf of his wife, welcomed all and emphasized on how important is to share God's love and that "God himself is Love". And the best example is to support and help our brothers and sisters in Syria. Therefore, the entire outcome from this event will benefit and help "ten" needy families in Aleppo-Syria.

Christmas fundraising luncheon

Vrouyr Demirjian thanked God for once again allowing us the opportunity to gather under one roof to serve Him by helping others. Then he welcomed and thanked everyone for their presence and continued support to this... foundation. He emphasized as Armenians that it is our duty individually to help and support our Churches and organizations. After delivering his daily message, he invited Aida Harootoonian to say a few words. Aida welcomed all and she herself thanked everyone who came to support this mission. She explained how she became familiar with this foundation and its mission to help and support the needy families and specially the orphans in Syria.

Bible Study Group Renewal of Faith

Annual fundraising event

The Armenian Spiritual Cultural Foundation organized a fundraising event to benefit the Armenian Orphanage in Aleppo Syria. Vrouyr Demirjian welcomed and introduced the organization to the attendees. On behalf of the organization he thanked everyone who made donations and supported this cause, special thanks to Louise Gill, Steven Hovagimian, and Gagik Badalyan.

FOUNDATION SUMMER FAMILY PICNIC

The foundation had its Family Summer Picnic and all guests had a great time singing and playing games and the picnic provided a place for spiritual bonding, See you all next year for more fun!
